Yahoo DFS Guards
Russell Westbrook – PG, vs POR ($64)
Westbrook comes with a ridiculous price tag, but he is the best fantasy option in the NBA. He struggled against the Mavs in his last game, but he was consistently scoring 60 or more fantasy points on a nightly basis before that. He also recently scored 85.4 fantasy points against the Suns, and he gets another fast paced matchup against the Blazers tonight. There is plenty of value to fit Westbrook into your lineups tonight.
Seth Curry – SG, at LAL ($23)
Curry has been playing at a high level since the All Star break, as he’s averaging 34.1 fantasy points per game since then. He’s a huge part in the Mavs offense, but he also has the ability to contribute peripheral stats on a nightly basis. He gets a great matchup against the Lakers, who love pushing the pace in games. Curry is still a bit too cheap, and he’s a great option in all leagues.
Also Consider – Jordan Clarkson – PG, at DAL ($14)
Yahoo DFS Forwards
Markieff Morris – PF, at PHX ($29)
Morris is far from a safe option, but he does come with great upside. He’s an athletic power forward, and he gets a revenge game against his former team. Morris has the potential to contribute in each of the five categories, This game will be played at an extremely fast pace, which will give Morris a few extra opportunities to score fantasy points. He isn’t safe enough to be used in cash games, but he’s a great tournament option.
T.J. Warren – SF, vs WAS ($19)
Warren was the big winner of the trade deadline, as he has seen his minutes and usage rating increase with P.J. Tucker out of town. Since the All Star break, Warren is averaging 29.6 fantasy points per game. He gets a great matchup against the Wizards in what should be a fast paced and high scoring game. Warren is still extremely cheap, and he can be used in all leagues until his price tag reaches his production.
Also Consider – Al-Farouq Aminu – PF, at OKC ($16)
Yahoo DFS Centers
Alan Williams – C, vs WAS ($13)
Williams should be the first player inserted into each of your lineups tonight. He’s playing bigger minutes for the Suns, and he has scored 34, 37.1, 33.4, and 45.5 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He has been earning more and more minutes on a nightly basis, and there’s no reason to avoid Williams on this small slate.
Also Consider – Jusuf Nurkic – C, at OKC ($18)
