DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (3/7/17): NBA DFS Advice

Very small three game slate for tonight, quite the difference from the 12 game slate we had last night. Options are going to be limited at every position and we are going to see some price gaps between players since the overall player pool is small. But there are still some good plays out there and that means there are contests to be won.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/7/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Yogi Ferrell - PG, vs LAL ($5,000)

On a slate that has Westbrook, sometimes you want to try and differentiate your lineups. It also helps that most other point guards are going to be cheap compared to Westbrook who is clocking in at 13K tonight. Ferrell is a great cheap option tonight and has a super favorable match up. He is facing off against the Lakers who are giving up 50 DraftKings points per game to point guards. That is second worst in the league. Any time you have that favorable of a match up, you want to key in on that. Ferrell has scored 21 points or more in four of his last five games.

Bradley Beal - SG @ PHO ($7,800)

Beal is the highest priced shooting guard on the slate tonight and I think he is a must play for either cash or GPP lineups. He has scored 40 DraftKings points or more in three of his last four games, and has a nice match up vs the Suns. Phoenix is giving up 41 points per game to shooting guards, and in a game which should have a high over under, this is exactly the kind of spot you want to roster him in. Beal has a usage rate of 28%, which is second highest on the team to only John Wall. Fast paced game, hot shooting guard, bad defense. Lock and load Beal tonight.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Maurice Harkless - SF, @ OKC ($5,300)

Since there are limited options at each position tonight, you want to look at some role players who are in good spots. The Thunder vs Trail Blazers match up is going to be a good one, and there will be plenty of points to go around. Harkless is a great role player for Portland, and he has been putting up solid numbers of late. He has scored 29 DraftKings points or more in three of his last five games. Portland has a few injuries for wing player and Harkless has seen a bump in minutes and therefore production. His match up vs the Thunders is good but not great, they are giving up 40 points per game to small forwards, which is good for middle of the pack in the NBA.

Dirk Nowitzki - PF, vs LAL ($5,800)

Dirk isn't the same superstar he once was, but he can still get it done. For his price, you don't need a ton of production out of him in order to hit value. He has scored 27 points or more in three of his last five games. He is still getting his looks on offense, as shown by his double digit shot attempts in three straight games. So the potential for high production is there, its just not as consistent. The reason he is a good play tonight is because of the match up vs the Lakers. They are giving up 50 points per game to power forwards. He could be a nice stack with Ferrell, get double points on some of the assists.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Enes Kanter - C, vs POR ($5,700)

Kanter has been back from his wonky injury earlier this year and it seems as he hasn't missed a beat. He has put up 30 DraftKings points or more in four of his last five games, and he doesn't seem to be slowing down. As we all know, for the Thunder it is the Westbrook show night in and night out. But Kanter is the benefactor of that and gets some easy put backs on the offense end, and gets a good amount of points through rebounds. Up against the Trail Blazers tonight, who are sixth worst in the league vs centers giving up 51 DraftKings points per game. Safe option for tonight, and comes with some salary savings.

Also consider: Marcin Gortat - C, @ PHO ($5,200)
