There are only five games on the main slate tonight, which starts at 6:00 PM EST. LeBron James will face off against James Harden in an epic showdown between two MVP candidates. If that is not enough to get NBA fans excited, nothing is.
In this article, I will be providing you with daily NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/12/17. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.
Let's get rolling.
FanDuel DFS Guards
D'Angelo Russell - PG, vs PHI ($6,900)
D'Angelo Russell has fantastic upside tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers, a team that struggles against every position, not just the point guard position. Russell posted over 40 fantasy points in his last game, which was against the Phoenix Suns. He has over 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games, posting over 35 fantasy points in three of those five contests. Russell has a reasonable price tag for tournaments.
Allen Crabbe - SG, at PHX ($3,800)
Allen Crabbe is very cheap, and his low price tag will allow for LeBron James and James Harden to find their way into most lineups. Without Crabbe, lineup construction becomes very difficult. He has around 25 minutes per game over his last couple of games, and the Phoenix Suns are a great team to attack on a short, five-game slate. In his last two games, Crabbe posted 24.8 and 29.8 fantasy points, which is over value. This should be a very uptempo game. Attack!
FanDuel DFS Forwards
LeBron James - SF, at HOU ($11,400)
It would be unwise to ignore LeBron James tonight against the Houston Rockets and James Harden. King James and Harden are going to be competing back and forth for that MVP trophy, so this game will have a little extra flair. In his last three games, James has over 60 fantasy points in all of them. The Rockets are ranked in the bottom five against opposing small forwards, which means that James should score at will. He has been playing big minutes of recent to ensure that the Cleveland Cavaliers are winning games. Roster him in all leagues.
TJ Warren - SF, vs POR ($6,000)
The Portland Trailblazers are one of the fastest teams in the league, and the Phoenix Suns are not going to back down from quickening the pace. TJ Warren has been playing well of recent. In fact, in his last contest, he posted over 40 fantasy points in 39 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers. He should see similar results tonight. Warren's price tag is very reasonable, so roster him next to LeBron James in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Alan Williams - C, vs POR ($5,600)
Despite inconsistency in his minutes over his last couple of games, Alan Williams is still posting big fantasy numbers. He has at least 34 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and the Portland Trailblazers are not going to slow him down. The Trailblazers have not been good against opposing centers, and Williams will take advantage of that. His price tag is very reasonable, and he will not break the bank, as far as salary cap is concerned. Roster Williams in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
