FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/20/17): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

In a seven game slate, the main question is whether you should roster Russell Westbrook, or save it to stack up elsewhere. Westbrook for $13,400 is a little high seeing how he is likely to fall around 60-70 FPTS. It is hard to pass up on a player that is almost guaranteed for 60+ FPTS, but may I suggest Kemba Walker for $5,400 less. Kemba ALMOST triple-doubled his last game against the Hawks and is due for a rebound game. This should be a matchup between point guards, meaning Walker is in for a solid outing.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/20/17. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Let's get rolling.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Evan Fournier - SG, vs PHI ($5,400)

The SG option is limited with more-dimensonal players, Marcus Smart would be the obvious choice with Isaiah Thomas out. Unfortunately, his price is a higher than what he is likely to produce, leaving Evan Fournier as the next player that consistently contributed across the board. The 76ers have struggled to contain Fournier in recent outings. He has been able to hit three's, find his teammates easily, and arguably the most important, rebound. Rebounds tend to add up, and if Fournier is not able to find his shot, he can still depend on his ability to get to the rim and rebound. He has a great matchup with a great price.

Sergio Rodriguez - PG, at ORL ($3,700)

This matchup may look discomforting on paper, but Sergio Rodriguez has been able to fill in as backup point guard fairly nicely. He is productive with his minutes, and recently he has been able to secure extra backcourt minutes. While his potential to produce continues to rise, look for him to get plenty of playing time against the Magic. Both teams tend to favor smaller lineups, leaving Rodriguez in the perfect spot to soak up plenty of usage. Rodriguez is another player that is able to contribute in multiple categories in case his shot is not falling.

Also Consider: Kemba Walker - PG, vs ATL ($8,000)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Lance Thomas - SF, at LAC ($4,400)

Lance Thomas has done more than secure himself a spot in the Knicks rotation. He has secured himself a roster spot until he wants to leave. He has made smart plays, finally started hitting his jumpshots, and has helped the Knicks stay as competitive as the triangle offense will let them. Until Thomas' minutes start to trend downward, which they shouldn't, continue to monitor Thomas as a solid value play. The Knicks can come out and give any team a fight, it just depends if the Knicks are able to score efficiently. Thomas fits right into the Clippers weakness.

Paul George - SF, vs UTA ($8,100)

This has been Paul George's month so don't let the Jazz defense scare you. Defense can only do so much. When George is playing like he is now, he is able to score at will. He generates offense and it translates well in DFS. He will be a lower owned superstar against Utah, and his upside is through the roof. Someone is going to need to score to keep Indiana in this game and look for the Pacers to get George going early. Other than his potential to have an abnormally high scoring night, you shouldn't need much convincing to give him a spot.

Also Consider: Ersan Ilyasova - PF, at CHA ($4,500)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Dwight Howard - C, vs CHA ($6,800)

Dwight Howard is one of those players that makes the game seem to revolve around them. Yes, Cody Zeller is a good defender, but that will not change Howard's ability to rebound and finish around the rim. His more than capable of drawing fouls and amassing a hefty double-double, even against the toughest of opponents. With the Center position slightly limited, you can spend less on Howard and still expect Nikola Vucevic-like numbers.

Also Consider: Mason Plumlee - C, at HOU ($6,100)
