DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (5/11/17): MLB DFS Advice

We have two slates today, but the early slate only features a couple games. I opted to avoid that slate and only focus on the late slate, which is much larger tonight.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/11/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel and Yahoo DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Colorado Rockies vs Hyun-Jin Ryu

The Rockies get an elite matchup against Ryu at home tonight. Ryu has struggled with a 4.05 ERA this season, and most importantly his HR/9 entering this game is 2.03. He gave up three home runs to the Rockies in their only matchup this season, but that game was in Los Angeles. This game is currently a pick 'em, but it is set at 11 runs, which is the highest of the night. The Rockies are an elite stacking option.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Chase De Jong

The Blue Jays have been awful this season, but they are in a great contrarian spot tonight. They get an elite matchup against De Jong, who enters this game with a terrible 11.05 road ERA this season. The Blue Jays are -142 favorites in a game set at 9 runs, and they're a high upside tournament stack tonight.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Michael Pineda - vs HOU ($9,300)

It was difficult to choose between Pineda and Dallas Keuchel, but ultimately I sided with Pineda. He is averaging more than 30 fantasy points per game in three home starts. He's a pitcher that comes with a ridiculous strikeout rate, and he's a -122 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs. He's an elite option on this slate.

Derek Holland - vs MIN ($5,200)

Holland may have been mispriced tonight or DraftKings may not think highly of him. He enters this game with a 3-2 record, 2.02 ERA, and 7.6 K/9 through six starts. He's a -130 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs. He likely will not light up the scoreboard, but he doesn't need many fantasy points to hit value. He's the type of pitcher you stack with the bats in Coors.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Buster Posey - vs CIN ($3,800)

Posey has been heating up recently, as he's hitting over .350 with a few extra-base hits over his last 10 games. He has displayed surprising power recently, and he gets a good matchup against Bronson Arroyo, who has struggled with home runs this season. Posey makes a consistent option with great upside, as well.

First Base (1B)

Ryan Zimmerman - vs BAL ($4,900)

Zimmerman has been the best hitter in the MLB this season, as he's hitting over .400 with double digit home runs. He's also hitting in one of the best offenses in the MLB, which means he will continue to see plenty of RBI opportunities. He gets a tough matchup against Bundy, but Zimmerman can be used in all leagues.

Second Base (2B)

Gift Ngoepe - at ARI ($2,400)

Ngoepe is expected to draw the start tonight, and he's a cheap bat in a hitter friendly stadium. He's hitting nearly .300 in limited games on the road this season, and he gets a good matchup against Zack Greinke tonight. He will likely be low owned, and he's a solid salary relief option in tournaments.

Shortstop (SS)

Brandon Crawford - vs CIN ($3,400)

Crawford is expected to be activated for the game tonight, and he's a sneaky option. Nearly 50% of his hits have gone for extra-bases, and he gets a matchup against Bronson Arroyo, who has struggled quite a bit this season. Crawford should only be used in tournaments, though, as he does come with quite a bit of risk.

Third Base (3B)

Justin Turner - at COL ($5,100)

Turner isn't going to come cheap, but he is an elite option tonight. He's hitting nearly .400 over his last 10 games, and he will see a boost in power in Coors tonight. He gets a great matchup against Tyler Anderson, and Turner can be used in all leagues.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Ian Desmond - vs LAD ($4,800)

Desmond has only played in a few games this season, but he has looked outstanding in that short time. He's hitting over .300 with good power, and he is the type of player that will benefit from playing in Colorado. He has also hit left-handed pitching well throughout his career, and he's an elite part of a Rockies stack.

Cody Bellinger - at COL ($4,900)

Bellinger has been enjoying an unbelievable season, as he's hitting over .300 with nearly 33% of his hits going over the fence. He's an extremely powerful player, and he's likely going to be one of the safest bets for a home run tonight. He isn't going to come cheap, but he's a player that avoid at your own risk tonight.
