1. Piscotty Heating Up

Since returning from a recent demotion to the minors, Stephen Piscotty is hitting .317/.429/.585 (.370 BABIP) with three home runs. Piscotty entered the season as a must-roster outfielder. Presently, he's only 24 percent owned. Part of his low ownership is due to the Cardinals roster - they're overburdened with outfielders.

Pitchers to Use

Mike Clevinger is barely eligible at 49 percent owned. However, he's available in the Rotoballer Staff League. The righty is having a strong season despite continuous battles with below average command. He also allows a high rate of hard contact. Despite the issues, he induces more than enough whiffs to consistently provide streamable starts. He'll face a volatile Orioles offense tomorrow.

Pitchers to Exploit

Jordan Lyles is participating in his seventh major league season. He's been around forever. Did you know he's only 26? The journeyman ground ball specialist is showing improved command. He's also averaged 94 mph with his fastball - mostly working out of relief. Alas, the improved velocity and command have not resulted in run prevention - 6.71 ERA in 51 innings. Lyles is visiting the Diamondbacks.

Homers on the Wire

Since I talked him up in section one, it should go without saying that Piscotty is a valuable streaming option for power. He's set to face Williams, a decent ground ball pitcher who lacks stand out attributes.

Matt Davidson is a useful anecdote for the perils of trusting platoon data. The lefty masher had obscene splits during the first half of the season. Since then, he's performed roughly equally against righties and lefties. It's likely he doesn't actually have a notable split. Even so, Moore is a highly exploitable southpaw set to pitch at power friendly Guaranteed Rate Park.

The Cubs have allowed over 100 steals this season, although a third of those came on Miguel Montero's watch. Even so, expect Keon Broxton, Hernan Perez, and other speedy Brewers to be aggressive tonight.

Skill Positions

Travis d'Arnaud has been hitting cleanup lately - a useful role even if he's a well below average batter. Miguel Montero is also worth a gander opposite Farmer.
