7 years agoUtah Jazz center Rudy Gobert (knee) is still out for Friday night's contest against the Charlotte Hornets but appears to be on track of his original timeline of mid-January. Gobert went through the non-contact portion of practice Thursday and should be ramping up his activity in the coming days. Gobert would still need to go through full practices and get cleared by the medical staff in order to return. Forward/center Derrick Favors (ankle) has played admirably in Gobert's absence but was also out Wednesday night. Center Ekpe Udoh started and posted 16 points and nine rebounds with four steals and two blocks in 34 minutes. If Favors continues to miss time while Gobert is on the shelf, Udoh is a solid short-term add for owners in need of rebounds and defensive stats.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
