7 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell (knee) has been sidelined since mid-November following knee surgery and is tentatively expected to return Friday night against the Miami Heat. Russell will most likely have a minutes restriction due to the lengthy injury, but his return will bump Spencer Dinwiddie back to the bench. Coach Kenny Atkinson has expressed desire to play Russell and Dinwiddie together, but Dinwiddie's current value will almost certainly drop. Caris LeVert is also likely to have his minutes reduced, while the other Nets starters will see a decrease in usage. Probable does not mean Russell will play so check back on his status closer to tip off on Friday .--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
