Otto Porter Bounces Back
7 years agoWashington Wizards small forward Otto Porter returned to form in Friday night's win over the Detroit Pistons. Porter finished with 16 points, going 4-for-5 from the three-point line, while contributing seven rebounds, three assists, four steals and zero turnovers in 38 minutes. Owners can breathe a sigh of relief as the fifth-year forward was coming into the night on a mini-slump, scoring 14 points combined on 35.7 percent shooting over his past two games. Porter can easily get hot from three, but even when his shot isn't falling, he can salvage his stat lines with defensive stats and minimal turnovers. Porter is averaging a career high in points and steals, while his ability to contribute in all categories without committing turnovers locks him in as a top-10 small forward the rest of the season.
