Hassan Whiteside Struggles Late Monday Night
7 years agoMiami Heat center Hassan Whiteside posted a big double-double Monday night but had some key turnovers down the stretch, leading to the loss against the Houston Rockets. Whiteside was 11-for-16 from the field for 22 points, 13 rebounds, three steals and two assists in 30 minutes. Giving the box score an eye test, Whiteside dominated the Rockets in the paint throughout the game, however, he proved costly on offense with seven turnovers and no blocks on the defensive end. This marks Whiteside's second straight game without a recorded block, but he has posted a double-double in eight of his last nine games. Whiteside remains an elite center in terms of points, rebounds and blocks for owners in all formats. He will look to get back into his shot-blocking ways in a mouth-watering matchup Thursday night when Miami takes on the Sacramento Kings.
