7 years agoWashington Wizards forward/center Markieff Morris took an expanded role on offense without point guard John Wall (knee) on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks. Morris paced his team with 23 points on 9-for-12 shooting, five rebounds, four three-pointers, three assists and a steal in 30 minutes. This marks the second straight 20-point game and the fourth on the season for Morris. Morris is having an overall disappointing season, but if Wall continues to sit, Morris will have a great opportunity to continue his recent offensive performances.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
