7 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard Wayne Ellington scored 16 points off the bench in Friday night's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. However, Ellington took 16 shots to get there and was 4-for-12 from three-point range in 31 minutes. Ellington, after scoring in double-digits in seven straight games, has found himself in a mini-slump over the past three games. Ellington is only shooting 31.0 percent from the field and 29.2 percent from long range over that span. That said, Ellington is still an elite three-point specialist, averaging 3.0 three-pointers per game this season. If you can stomach his spotty field-goal percentage, Ellington would be a great help in the three-point category. He'll look to get his shot back on track Saturday against the Detroit Pistons.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
