7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Nikola Mirotic made his first appearance for the team on Saturday following his trade from Chicago and had a very good outing, getting a double-double off the bench with 18 points and a team-leading 12 rebounds. He played 35 minutes and shot 6-for-13 from the floor and 3-for-8 from behind the arc. Mirotic has always been a good shooter and a scorer, but he also managed to impress with defensive work on his debut, getting a season-high four steals. At New Orleans, Mirotic won't have any problems getting playing time, so his fantasy stocks will quickly be on the rise.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
