7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs center Pau Gasol started from the bench for the first time this season in Saturday's home loss to Utah and ended up doing a productive job by getting nearly a double-double in 20 minutes of action. He scored eight points with 3-for-8 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. The Spurs haven't reached the standards we expect them to recently, so it looks like coach Pop is seeking answers to the slump. Davis Bertans logged only 19 minutes as a starter ahead of Gasol and had eight points on 2-for-7 shooting, so the Spaniard could find his way back into the starting five soon enough.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
