7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic, who had a nice debut for the team off the bench with 18 points and 12 rebounds, was promoted to the starting lineup Monday against the Utah Jazz, but he ended up being very ineffective. He missed all four of his triples and shot 2-for-8 overall to register just five points in 33 minutes. Mirotic also didn't do much on the glass this time either, finishing with only three rebounds. The Pelicans got blown out, so maybe head coach Alvin Gentry rethinks his plan again.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
