7 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. has had some really inefficient shooting nights lately, but with his high usage rate (28.8 percent), he's still getting the job done in terms of scoring. He had 22 points in Thursday's loss to the Warriors, shooting 8-for-18 from the field. However, he did have a good day from downtown, hitting four of nine. Smith Jr. is shooting an ugly 39.3 percent from the field in his rookie season, but he seemingly has a free rein with the ball on offense and that makes him a solid source for points every night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
