7 years agoAfter a week off, Justin Thomas is set to tee it up for the Genesis Open at Riviera. He will get a welcome addition back on the bag, as caddie Jimmy Johnson is set to return after aggravating a foot injury during the second round at Kapalua. “Sounds like he’s going to be good to go for L.A.,” Thomas said, “so it’ll be good to have the man back.” Thomas has not won since the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, but also has not finished worse than tied for 22nd in the 2018 season and has made the cut in all five of his events played. He will be one of the favorites heading into this week's action.--cmangano
