7 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki has played his best basketball of the season this month and could be an interesting fantasy player to own during the latter half of the season. Nowitzki has averaged 15.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in February, shooting very well from the field (52.9 percent) and from behind the arc (42.3 percent). Earlier in the month, he became only the sixth player in NBA history to log 50,000 career minutes, but he's so far missed only one game in his 20th season, even though the Mavs have been out of the playoff race for weeks. "Getting to 20 years is special. There’s not a lot of guys that have done it. Not a lot of guys have done it with one franchise. I’m proud of that, but want to finish the season strong," Nowitzki said after reaching the 50,000 landmark.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
