7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis had a historically great night in New Orleans overtime win against Miami on Friday night, scoring 45 points on 17-for-34 shooting while pulling down 17 rebounds and recording five blocks and five steals. It was Davis' fourth consecutive game with 38 or more points and 10 or more rebounds, as the big man has put New Orleans on his back. The Pelicans have won four straight and should continue to rely on Davis as they try to make the playoffs in a tough Western Conference. The Pelicans take on Milwaukee on Sunday, a team that has been fairly strong defensively against opposing power forwards lately. That shouldn't matter, though, because Davis is on a run that makes him fairly matchup-proof.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
