7 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Yogi Ferrell provided a good spark off the bench in Saturday's loss to Utah, finishing with 13 points on 5-for-11 shooting, and even ending up leading the team with 35 minutes on the floor. Ferrell, who shot 3-for-6 from deep, also recorded five rebounds and four assists. He finished scoreless in the final game before the All-Star break but has done well after that, leading the bench in scoring on both occasions, while also averaging 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals. Dennis Smith Jr. has been on a really long leash this season, but he ended up playing just 23 minutes against Utah.
