Patty Mills Scores 11 Points In Second Consecutive Start
7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Patty Mills logged 35 minutes in a second consecutive start on Sunday against Cleveland, finishing with 11 points on 3-for-9 shooting. The 29-year-old Aussie also had five assists with just a single turnover. The Spurs ended a four-game skid with Mills in the starting five and Danny Green coming off the bench, so it might be a lineup that head coach Gregg Popovich will be looking to use for the time being. With Green completely missing the game, Mills had 21 points in 33 minutes on Friday against Denver. He has a favorable matchup on Wednesday against New Orleans if he keeps his place in the starting unit.
