7 years agoPhoenix Suns guard Elfrid Payton posted another full line by nearly notching a triple-double in a 124-116 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Payton finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists and added two steals and two blocks. This was an impressive night for Payton, who also added only one turnover but did struggle a bit from the field, going only six of 16. The arrival of Payton in Phoenix has opened the door for Devin Booker to run more off screens and have more open catch-and-shoot opportunities. As a result, the Phoenix Suns have a very talented young back court and they seem to be working very well together.--Gianni Costantiello
