7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Davis Bertans had a superb outing off the bench Monday against the Grizzlies, scoring 17 points in 19 minutes and picking up four rebounds, three assists and a steal. The Latvian struggled with his three-ball, shooting 1-for-5 from deep, but did well overall, going 5-for-9 (55.6 percent) from the field. Rudy Gay and Pau Gasol (shoulder) both had their minutes cut short due to injuries, and it's already known that Gasol is very unlikely to play against the Warriors on Thursday. If that's the case, then Bertans could be looking at his 10th start of the season. He's averaged 10.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 26 minutes per game as a starter this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
