7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic scored 26 points in Wednesday's win over the Sacramento Kings, making 10 of his 12 shot attempts, including a 4-for-6 night from behind the three-point line. Mirotic also grabbed 10 rebounds, which also led the team. With Anthony Davis (ankle) possibly set to miss some time, Mirotic will need to step up and perform like this on a nightly basis if the Pelicans want to stay in the playoff race. New Orleans plays Washington on Friday, but Mirotic's role won't be clear until we know more about the Davis injury.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
