Karl-Anthony Towns Records Double-Double
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns had a double-double on Thursday in the 117-109 loss to the Boston Celtics. Towns had 15 points on a subpar 5-for-12 shooting from the field to go along with 11 boards. The third-year man has had a rough few games, getting ejected against Utah and only managing to scrounge up 13 points prior to his premature exit in the game prior to this one. With his team now having lost three in a row, Towns and company will have another tough matchup ahead on Sunday against the Golden State Warriors, a team that ranks in the top five against opposing centers. Despite a fast-paced contest, the tough matchup should sway most away from rostering him in DFS contests.
