FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/11/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

The NBA slate is loaded, and FanDuel is pulling their usual splitting up the day into two contests, making DFS degenerates such as myself spend even more money. A lot of injuries to take into consideration, with the Cavs, Warriors, Rockets, Pelicans and Hawks all dealing with a plethora of guys who won’t be, or may not be suiting up. Something to definitely take into consideration.

In the first FanDuel contest, Chicago/Atlanta and Golden State/Minnesota both have games that should move ridiculously fast. Though the Pelicans will force Utah to speed things up, the 12.5 spread could force the teams to rest some of their core guys down the stretch. Denver/Sacramento will have a pace below 100 and I will personally be omitting this contest for that reason. In the Second contest, Houston is projected to crush Dallas, which is another red flag, while Boston/Indiana will also have a pace below 100. If you are looking for a fade opportunity, multiple players from the Philadelphia/Brooklyn and Cleveland/Los Angeles games will be popular DFS additions, and for good reason.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/11/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. Give me a holler on Twitter @Den_Clausen and let me know how well I did.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Klay Thompson - SG, @ MIN ($6,400)

Thompson took advantage of Stephen Curry’s absence against Portland, scoring 25 points on 9-for-19 shooting from the field, and 4-for-7 from deep. At such a generous price, he should provide value without forcing you to break the bank.

Jordan Clarkson - SG, @ LAL ($4,200)

Everyone will be taking advantage of the bargain $4,200 price tag for Jordan Clarkson on Sunday night, and for good reason. He will meeting his former team for the first time since being traded and if you haven’t bought into the notion about guys playing better against their former teams, you should, especially at that price and the handful of injuries on the Cleveland roster. I’m not opposed to throwing J.R. Smith into the mix either.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant - SF, @ MIN ($10,600)

With Stephen Curry out of the equation, it is only natural that Kevin Durant took on a bigger workload for the defending champs. He went nuts on the Trail Blazers a few nights ago, dumping 40 points and finishing the night shooting 6-for-12 from behind the arc. He may cost you a pretty penny, but he is totally worth it.

Larry Nance Jr. - PF, @ LAL ($7,800)

Nance will make his return to Los Angeles to meet up with his former team. He has been playing well since being inserted into the starting rotation, and with all of the injuries on the Cavs roster, Nance will receive an eight percent increase in his usage percentage.

Jeff Green - SF, @ LAL ($3,600)

With the Cavs dealing with injuries to Rodney Hood, Cedi Osman, Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love and potentially Kyle Korver, Green will likely draw the start at the three spot. He will see a significant increase in minutes, and it is not out of the question for him to hit at least five times value in a game that will be fast-paced and high-scoring. Consider him for a nice value-play opportunity, especially if Korver does indeed sit for this one.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns - C, vs. MIN ($9,800)

Towns had a rough night against the Utah Jazz a few nights ago after getting ejected, but he bounced back nicely against the defensively sound Boston Celtics the following game, finishing the night with a double-double. With an increased tempo and extra offensive looks caused by Jimmy Butler’s absence, Towns should have a solid afternoon. If you are worried about the Warriors’ “defense vs. position” stats for centers, don’t be, it’s fake news.
