7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Emeka Okafor got close to his first double-double since returning to the NBA last month, scoring 14 points and picking up eight rebounds in a win over Charlotte on Tuesday. Okafor logged a season-high 26 minutes, which helped him on his way. He shot 7-for-14 from the floor and recorded three steals as well, which is another season high for him. Okafor looked simply like a depth signing at first, but he's worked his way to the starting five and has shown that he still has plenty to offer.
