Kyle Kuzma Leads Lakers In Scoring
7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) was able to suit up against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night. Kuzma looked 100 percent, finishing things up with a game-high 27 points. He shot 10-for-18 from the field, but did have some issues from deep, netting only three shots on 10 attempts. Though he has been allotted some extra minutes since the injury to forward Brandon Ingram (groin), he has been unable to take advantage, only hitting 20 points in three games since Ingram has been away. He will have a chance to make amends for his recent shoddy play on Thursday against a Pelicans team that is giving up some of the worst numbers on the defensive end this season. With the Lakers being limited with consistent options on the offensive end outside of forward Julius Randle, Kuzma has the chance to solidly his spot as the No. 2, at least until Ingram returns, which could happen in the next game or two.
