7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Rajon Rondo heavily benefited from the absence of Jrue Holiday (illness) Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks. Rondo posted 19 points on 8-for-14 shooting, 14 assists, nine rebounds and three steals in the 10-point win. Rondo has been rejuvenated lately, filling up the stat sheet. Now the Pelicans are in the middle of back-to-back-to-back games this week and Holiday could miss either of their upcoming games Wednesday (against the Pacers) or Thursday (against the Lakers).
