7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic could not get his shot going against the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday. Mirotic shot 3-for-10 from the field to finish with just eight points and seven rebounds in 31 minutes. Most of Mirotic's value comes from his ability to score and drain three-pointers, but he has shot just 28.6 percent from the field over his past four games. Mirotic and the Pelicans have two more games in a row against the Pacers Wednesday and the Lakers Thursday. The Pacers are middle of the pack defensively, but the Lakers allow the best field-goal percentage to opposing forwards.
