Dwight Howard Stays Unstoppable On Monday
7 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Dwight Howard continued a dominant stretch of stat lines Monday against the New York Knicks. Howard dropped 23 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 9-for-15 from the field and a rare perfect 5-for-5 from the line in 36 minutes. Howard still struggles with senseless turnovers (six on Monday), but it's hard to ignore the type of production he has put up over the course of March. Howard is arguably having his best statistical month of the season with averages of 20.4 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. Owners who kept with the aging Howard have enjoyed this late surge in the fantasy playoffs and should see another dominant game on Wednesday. The Hornets face the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have been sluggish on defense all season.
