7 years agoPortland Trailblazers center Jusuf Nurkic did everything he could to take down the Los Angeles Clippers to help his club with playoff positioning. It was a definite "Nurk Alert" as the big man finished with 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting while chipping in 12 rebounds and three assists and it did not stop there with him adding two steals and three blocks while leading his squad with a plus-12 on the night. Jurkic has been elite as of late and is actually ranked number one on the ESPN Player Rater for 8-categories over the past seven days. Nurkic had a massive finish to last season as well after being moved from the Nuggets. Nurkic does not get the praise he deserves and is in a position to lead some owners to a championship this season.--Gianni Costantiello
