7 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen dominated the Washington Wizards Sunday, leading his team to a blowout win. Markkanen scored a team-high 23 points on 7-for-11 shooting with six rebounds and five three-pointers in just 25 minutes. Markkanen has shown huge potential in his rookie season and should be a key piece in Chicago's rebuilding process. His ability to stretch the floor has been prominent, but he will have to contribute in other areas, like blocks, in order to become elite someday. The Bulls play against the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, who have given up the most threes to opposing power forwards.
