7 years agoSan Diego Union-Tribune beat writer Kevin Acee reports that San Diego Padres catcher Austin Hedges (back) should return to the lineup Wednesday night against the Rockies. Hedges first sat out Monday night with tightness in his upper back and was scheduled to start Tuesday before he was a late scratch from the lineup. He was able to catch for starter Tyson Ross as he warmed up for the third inning while A.J. Ellis got dressed back up after popping out to end the second. When Hedges returns to the lineup, he will look to improve upon his 1-for-11 start to 2018.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
