7 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Dennis Smith Jr. (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Orlando Magic. It's the second game of a back-to-back set, so the Mavs will rest their veterans. Dirk Nowitzki (ankle), Dwight Powell (knee) and Harrison Barnes (rest) are all out for Wednesday's contest. The severity of these injuries are unknown, but it is likely the Mavs are being cautious and also attempting to tank against the struggling Magic. Yogi Ferrell, Aaron Harrison and J.J.
