DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/9/18): NBA DFS Lineups

DFS picks for DraftKings FanDuel

There are nine games on the slate making today and Wednesday your last big nights in this NBA regular season. The Spurs, Nuggets, Pelicans Timberwolves, and Thunder still need one or two more wins to secure a playoff berth, and with only two days left in the season the time is running out. All those teams have two games left to play, so feel free to play any of the starters on those teams for the last few days. Tonight, stack the Spurs against the Kings and the Pelicans backcourt versus the Clippers.

For the must-plays, consider: Jeff Teague, Jimmy Butler, Paul George, Paul Millsap, Anthony Davis, Nikola Jokic.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/9/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have more questions, find me in the Hoops Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Kyle Korver - SG, at NY ($3,600)

This is a risky pick, but this is the type of game the Cavaliers need before the postseason. Seeding doesn't matter and the Cavs just want to the season to end so they can prepare for their first round matchup. Ignoring all that, Kyle Korver's minutes recently have been minimal, but it's pretty obvious he is getting more chances to catch some momentum rather than just being inactive. If LeBron is actually going to play this late in the season, you want to roster him in games played at MSG. It seems ludicrous to only play Korver cause he is playing at MSG, but being a shooter and after only taking three shots in 20 minutes, he will have some type of a rebound game versus the Knicks 'ghost' defense.

Spencer Dinwiddie - SG/SF, vs CHI ($5,100)

Once again, another Spencer Dinwiddie selection. Although his minutes have grown increasingly spotty over the past few weeks, he still produces without a hitch. It's pretty clear double-double Dinwiddie is just about vanished from DFS, but there is no reason he still can't scrape at the same production moving forward. Yes, moving forward only means two more games, but after shooting below .500 two games in a row, expect him to try and get a rebound game in before the season end.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kyle Anderson - SF/PF, vs. SAC ($4,500)

This was a decision between Jeff Green, Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gay, so I felt the players that had more to play for were the better options. The only problem is, this can go one of two ways. Either Anderson lives up to the moment and produces, or he folds under pressure. Luckily, the Spurs are notorious for NOT floundering so roll with Anderson confidently. I know I just instilled all the doubt you needed to fade Anderson, but with limited options, you almost HAVE to choose a Spurs player. Whether you want to go with Gay or Anderson is up to you but if you know me, you know I'm going with less-owned player, which should be Anderson.

Wes Iwundu - SF/PF, at MIL ($3,300)

Since the Magic have been on the losing half of the league, there's no reason not to play Wes Iwundu whose been getting consistent minutes for the latter half of the season. He isn't dependent on one specific category for production and instead makes the most of his minutes. With only three double-digit scoring efforts this season, one being last game, the momentum should carry into tonight. Especially seeing how Iwundu has taken more shots in his last three games than he has in any other three game stretch this season.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Steven Adams - C, at MIA ($6,300)

There are few centers that have established themselves as a frontcourt presence more than Steven Adams. Not only is he perfecting his offensive style, but he's been arguably the best role player the Thunder have had in years. Since the Thunder are just one game out from clinching a playoff berth, they still need to win and need Adams carrying as much weight as he can. Granted, it's not the greatest strategy to give him bigger workloads before the playoffs but the Thunder need to guarantee post-season play before they start game planning for it. That starts with Adams in the paint and there is nothing Hassan Whiteside and Bam Adebayo can really do about it.
