7 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager has struggled out of the gate, hitting only .167, and has only two hits over his last 16 at-bats. He is slugging a pedestrian .391 and has not been able to have the kind of start some of his teammates are enjoying right now. Seager did hit .159 in the month of April two seasons ago but offset that with five home runs. The Mariners need their third baseman to drive in runs, so they will have the ultimate patience in hoping their slugger turns it around soon. For fantasy owners, Seager is a professional hitter who eventually will find his way, so there isn't a need to panic quite yet.--Joey C - RotoBaller
