7 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy rebounded from a rough start this season with a seven-strikeout performance against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Duffy gave up just one earned run in 5 1/3 innings but did walk three batters. Duffy has had a rough start to the season with a 5.40 ERA and eight walks in 15 innings. He was drafted as a third or fourth pitcher for most fantasy teams. Hopefully this start is the beginning of him getting his season back on track and returning his draft-day value. His next start is in Toronto where in his only outing, he previously gave up five earned runs in six innings, making him a tough player to start next week.--Ben Rolfe
