7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Rajon Rondo tied a post-season assist record for his squad by dishing 17 assists in a two-point win. Rondo added six points on 3-of-9 shooting, while adding eight boards and a steal as playoff Rondo showed up in this one. Rondo has orchestrated the Pels offense supremely over his last four games averaging 14.2 assists a night in those contests. Rondo is playing too good right now to be ignored, but we know from history as he can come back with a dud line after big ones like this. The Blazers will look to make some adjustments in order to slow down the hot point guard.--Gianni Costantiello
