7 years agoAfter a day off with neck stiffness, Nomar Mazara returned to the Texas Rangers line-up Sunday. Mazara hit third in the line-up and was the team’s designated hitter. The quick return to the line-up is certainly promising in suggesting the neck problem will not be a long-term issue. He went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts on his return, but the fact that he was in the line-up at all is more important than the output. Mazara, who is hitting .298 in 2018, should now be considered ready to start this week and should be a fixture in all fantasy line-ups.--Ben Rolfe
