Jimmy Butler Struggles In Game 1
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Jimmy Butler had a Game 1 to forget on Sunday evening. Butler scored only 13 points in the loss to the Houston Rockets, shooting a faulty 4-for-11 from the field and 2-for-5 from deep. He barely contributed in other areas as well, finishing the night with only five boards, four assists and two steals. Butler has not performed well against Houston the entire year, averaging just 16 points and shooting a sloppy 12.5 percent from behind the arc throughout three meetings during the regular season. Even more uneventful, he also sported a hideous 128.2 defensive rating against the club during that same span. With Butler seemingly still a little rusty after an extended absence which resulted from a knee injury and his shaky history against Houston this season, Butler may not be a sound option in DFS contests on Wednesday for Game 2.
