7 years agoFollowing time in extended spring training, Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Clay Buchholz (forearm) has been assigned to Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Buchholz is looking to try and restart his career after missing most of 2017 following surgery on his right forearm. He has an opt-out on May 1, so expect to see the Royals make a decision on whether he is ready to join the big league rotation in the next couple of weeks. In his career with the Red Sox, Buchholz did have stretches of fantasy relevance. However, at this stage in his career, he is more likely to serve as a streamer than he ever is to be a must-own.--Ben Rolfe
