7 years agoAfter missing the cut at the year's first major and taking a week off, Pat Perez is ready to return this week at the Valero Texas Open. Perez last played this event in 2015, where he finished in a tie for 20th. Perez was red-hot to start the season with a win and four top-five finishes in his first six starts, but has cooled off recently with only one finish inside the top 25 in his last five events. The field at the Valero is relatively weak, so this could be a good bounce-back spot for Perez. He has a real shot at a top-10 finish this week.--cmangano
