Danny Duffy Dominates Blue Jays
7 years agoIn the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader, Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy continued to turn his season around. Duffy struggled early in 2018, giving up eight earned runs in 9 2/3 innings with just eight strikeouts in his first two starts. In his last two starts, he has 15 strikeouts and has allowed just one earned run in 11 1/3 innings, including eight strikeouts in six innings against the Blue Jays. Duffy is looking to put together a third season of a sub-4.00 ERA but will be hoping to repeat the strikeout numbers from 2016 rather than 2017. The buy-low period on Duffy has now passed and he should be a pitcher you start regularly in all formats.
