7 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates are taking advantage of an early start on Wednesday to get outfielder Gregory Polanco a day off. Polanco is hitting just .197 this season but has five home runs and 15 RBI. Polanco is on pace to hit 50 HRs and .050 lower than he has in the last three seasons. Going forward, you should expect to see the power and average level out. It would be no surprise to see Polanco end the season with a batting average around .250 with close to 20 HRs and a handful of steals.--Ben Rolfe
