7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs has an outing against one of the more strikeout-happy teams in the majors, the Chicago White Sox, on Wednesday, presenting the opportunity for a big day. Triggs has struck out 17 in 15 2/3 innings this season and the White Sox are averaging 10.4 strikeouts per game through 14 games. The White Sox are also averaging just 3.6 runs per game, so there does not appear to be too much risk. Triggs is now looking at back-to-back seasons in which he has started well and he is one of the top streaming options Wednesday. He also has the potential to become a must-own in mixed leagues with another good start.--Ben Rolfe
