7 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Wesley Matthews (leg) said he expects to be cleared for basketball activities this week. Matthews has an MRI scheduled Thursday to determine if the stress fracture in his right fibula has healed yet. "By the end of the week, I should be good to go," Matthews said. He missed the final 16 games of the season but was a solid option for the Mavs this season. He averaged 12.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.4 triples on 40.6 percent shooting. Matthews has an $18.6 million player option for 2018-19 but has not decided whether or not he's going to pick it up.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
