FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/20/18): NBA DFS Lineups

It's Friday night, and we have three solid games to kick off the weekend. Now is not the time to be cute and instead, since it's the playoffs, we want guys who play a TON of minutes and are putting up shots. There are also a lot of big names who are priced very generously that are capable of exceeding their respective values by far, notably Jaylen Brown and DeMar DeRozan, to name a few.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/20/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like DraftKings. Give me a follow on Twitter and say hello @Den_Clausen. Let's get started.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jaylen Brown - SG, @ MIL ($6,800)

Despite being more efficient than Terry Rozier throughout the first two games of the series, Jaylen Brown is priced $1,000 less than him. Though Rozier has also been fantastic, Brown is averaging 4.5 more points a game and is averaging 20.5 shot attempts as well. He will also cost $1,100 less than DeMar DeRozan, and though I believe DeRozan is undervalued as well, you can save some pennies by going the Brown route.

Ty Lawson - PG, vs. TOR ($3,500)

After playing in China for a brief stint, Lawson was signed by the Wizards a little over a week ago. He sat out in Game 1, but exploded in Game 2 against the Raptors, finishing things up with 14 points and eight assists over 31 minutes of action. Though he is a risky play, his last performance should buy him another ticket for DFS lineups on Friday night. Priced at only $3,500, you really can't go wrong, even if he flops for some reason. He will be a popular play more than likely, so fading him out may not be a bad way to go either.

Other DanDuel DFS Guards to Consider: Terry Rozier, DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry, Delon Wright (if Fred VanVleet sits), John Wall

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Serge Ibaka - PF, @ WAS ($6,300)

Ibaka has reclaimed consistent minutes during the playoffs after giving up floor time to Pascal Siakam, Lucas Nogueira, and Jakob Poeltl during the regular season. Ibaka has been nasty so far in this series, averaging 16.5 points, 10.5 boards, 2.5 blocks and two made shots from deep throughout the first two games. Priced the same as Markieff Morris, Ibaka has been more consistent of the two, so if you are wondering which one to take, roll with Ibaka.

Mike Scott - PF, vs. TOR ($3,500)

Despite dropping 20 points in Game 2, Scott still finds himself priced at only $3,500. He's averaging a healthy 26.5 minutes per game and has a good upside, especially when you consider the lack of depth of the Washington bench. He likely won't score 20 points again, but the upside is certainly there.

Other FanDuel DFS Forwards to Consider: LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Kelly Oubre Jr., Markieff Morris, Marcus Morris, John Henson

DraftKings DFS Centers

Jonas Valanciunas - C, @ WAS ($6,000)

Valanciunas is a guy who won't get a lot of minutes, but he is usually productive while on the floor. He has played well in the postseason despite only playing a little over 20 minutes a game and is always a threat for a low-end double-double. He dropped 19 points, pulled down 14 boards and had two blocks in Game 2, and though he likely won't accumulate those numbers again in Game 3, he will produce something similar in addition to likely outperforming Myles Turner, who is also priced at $6,000. With the lack of options at the five spot on Friday, Valanciunas is the best value for your money, but if you can spend up, Al Horford isn't a bad choice either.

Other FanDuel DFS Centers to Consider: Al Horford
