7 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum's shot finally started to drop in his club's 119-102 crucial loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. McCollum hit nine of his 16 shots while going 2-for-5 from deep en route to a team-high 22 points. McCollum did not add much else, chipping in three assists, a rebound and a single steal while turning the ball over four times. McCollum had been struggling mightily with his shot coming into Game 3 and it was nice to see the stroke return, although it was nearly not enough, as the Blazers are looking dead in the water. The Blazers have a do-or-die matchup Saturday and McCollum's confidence may have returned. He is worth an add if his purchase price is right.--Gianni Costantiello
