7 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Ian Kennedy will start Sunday at home, against the Chicago White Sox. Kennedy took a line drive off his leg in his last start but has recovered in time for Sunday. In his previous start against the White Sox, Kennedy threw six innings, striking out five and giving up just one earned run. Facing the White Sox offers an opportunity for Kennedy to strike hitters out, and have a good day. Despite his injury earlier in the week I would not hesitate to use Kennedy Sunday.--Ben Rolfe
